I am the kind of person who expresses things physically; through hugs, caresses, kisses, etc.Unfortunately, those sort of things make him terribly uncomfortable (psychologically, not physically).or married to someone with Cerebral Palsy female/male I recommend you watch this movie trailer and and see it when it comes out in June. I was born 2 months early and there were several complications with the birth. Been to physio was told that it was weak and given some exercises but it hurts even more now and I find it hard to go up and down steps. I was not able to walk or talk until I was 3 from the help of mommom. My Cousin just shared it on Facebook right now and we're already planning to go see it!!! I spent another 2 months in the hospital after that. When I was 3 mommom was working at Life college and...Most people have seen one of these or are familiar at least a bit with Steven Hawking. I would have never thought I would be so happy as I am this time last year. and I have had CP since I was a baby I was three months premature and I had a hole in my heart I was also adopted and I am living my life one day at a time it's really hard for other people to understand because they don't have the situations I have I'm looking for some friends... I am proud to say I am now 30 and able to live on my own. :p I am incredibly shy and find it really difficult to make friends because of my disability, so I have always been a loner. (gonna start from beginning and work through my life with grandma, I called her mommom) I was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy in my first year of life.Since grade school, I've always been one that has been bullied. hi im pretty new at this but i figure your spoused to write your personal experiences so others can learn from them??? With it, we can see injustice and ignorance and we know that love and friendship matters. Our bodies are twisted, we may limp or use wheels, but So What? I am 20 years old and I have mild cerebral palsy in both my legs.
I can see spending the rest of my life with him, if HE will let ME!We'd known each other for a year and a half already, so he knew that I had mild cerebral palsy, a neuro-muscular disability that occurs when the brain's cerebellum is damaged, usually at birth.Balance, fine motor, and speech can be affected, but a diagnosis of CP doesn't automatically mean a lower intelligence. There was no possible way I could tell him that when I reached into his coat pocket and took his hand—to this day the only bold, romantic gesture I have ever made—it was because I thought he wanted me to. He stayed calm while I explained that I thought he was cute, funny and kind. Embarrassed and disappointed as I was, I also felt a bit relieved. We enjoyed each other's company, so why not see where this could go? If we weren't going to be dating, maybe I didn't have to tell him exactly how serious my slight limp actually was.
